"Pears In A Bowl" (or "Warm Circus"?)
September 2nd, 2007
6×6 oil on canvas panel A more abstract compositional orientation. As I got into the painting I found myself playing with the paint a bit more intuitively. Part of my attraction to making these daily paintings is the freedom to experiment in any way I choose, without the fear of disappointing the gallery folks.
On another note, I hope to have my link to ebay and my new website in place, soon. Lasca, my lovely, brilliant and computer saavy wife, who is building my dream website, is the one enabling me to do this. I sincerely admire and congratulate all you folks who have put this all together yourselves. I’m so looking forward to meeting, and interacting with as many of you as possible. Artists can too easily spend way too much time isolated in their studio without connecting to the outside world. Without Lasca, I would still be wishing I could do this, too. I’m trying to close the gap as quickly as possible.
