8×6 oil on canvas panel          These were in a bag of home grown vegetables that my son and daughter-in-law brought me from Kentucky. Everything in the bag was like a miniature version of the regular vegetables. They really fit the small wonders theme. Only thing that wasn’t in the bag was “Kentucky Wonder” green beans. So, I couldn’t title this one “Small Kentucky Wonders”. Shucks. Anyway, sometimes everything goes right, and this was one of those times. The onion skin shell fell off when I set the pair down on the stand. When I clicked on my spotlight and saw the nice illumination effect on the onion I was underway. This one’s my favorite so far in my daily paintings.
