6×8 oil on canvas panel How ’bout that clever title?! Oh, well, it’s not about the titles (though they can be fun). What I was thinking of here was doing something with a straight complementary color scheme, in a composition contrasting circles and diagonals. I particularly enjoyed painting the blue border on the plate working its way through the warm reflection of the apple.
